The Reference Spot

ORKA Reference Hall is a projection room designed to work on color grading in cinema conditions and exclusive screenings with the best possible image and sound quality. Measuring over six meters wide, the screen was made by the world leader in the production of reference screen sheathing, Harkness Screens. The sound system is a 7.1 Dolby Cinema set equipped with the highest model of the CP950 sound processor. The jewel in the crown of the Reference Spot is the projector. It’s Barco Series 4 SP4K-27HC from Cinionic, their flagship laser projector with native 4K resolution, increased contrast, and improved color reproduction allowing you to experience reference HDR image. It will enable you to display up to 120 frames per second, and thanks to The Barco Colorgenic™ technology, it provides up to 98.5% of the color space in the Rec. 2020 standard. It is the first projector of this type in Poland. The room has comfortable cinema seats and a stand for colorists equipped with DaVinci Resolve.

SP4K-27HC is part of the Series 4 portfolio from Cinionic, designed in close collaboration with industry partners. Market trends in content creation, exhibition and technology were taken into account. The result? A custom-designed cinema projector with enhanced contrast for the ultimate image quality. The Series 4 brings native 4K resolution, higher contrast and enhanced uniformity into the movie theater. The SP4K-27HC adds a 5000:1 extra high contrast for premium auditoriums. The Barco Active Image Management™ and its patented precision brightness technology guarantees flawless images with automatic white balances. The Barco Colorgenic™ technology opens up more than 98.5% of Rec. 2020. SP4K-27HC is fully enabled for future innovations like 4K 120fps and HDR images. Matt Preview from Harkness Screens

Harkness Matt Preview screens are used in preview theatres and in small theatres where seating positions are close to the screen and the projector power is relatively high, generally in dark conditions. The flexible PVC-based material is manufactured to a unique formulation and specification providing wide viewing angles, high contrast, bright pictures and excellent colour temperature.
